I had to return a pair of pants at the Gap Outlet, and while I was at the register, I made the mistake of looking back. And when I did, I saw 50 percent off dress pants, regular $34.99 to $39.99, pants that are around $60 in Gap. After investigating further, I found a table and a rack with jeans of all sizes (not just size 0 and 1 as I typically find) for just $14.99. That’s right, Gap jeans - skinny, boot cut, boy cut, etc. - for under $15. There was no luring myself away, the Pied Piper of Sales had whistled, and I was its puppet.

For shoe hounds, DSW is offering an extra 30 percent off the clearance rack. Unfortunately no finds to be had here for me as the two shoes I wanted to purchase had a high heel, and I’m already about 5′9″.

And don’t forget that sale at Godiva that fellow shopgirl Joyce mentioned earlier. Their dark chocolate wafer-thin chocolates (nine to a package) are perfect for stocking stuffers.
