Crocs for Summer and 20% off.

I received an email this morning from Crocs online  about a great deal today only.  Using discount code “CROCS4SUMMER” will get you 20% off everything – even sale prices and free shipping.  I got three pair of mamouth crocs (2 for the kids, and one for me) and 2 free jibbitz for $53.  Since these are normally $30 each just for the kids, I thought it was a deal worth grabbing.  I’ll just put them away until it gets cool out.

Trip Summary: Publix, Target, Walgreens – saved $49.88

flip.jpgYesterday I went out just to take advantage of a few deals, but just now getting a chance to blog them. Here are my scenarios:

Publix

3 Schick Shaving Gel 2/$4 – 3 $1/1 Publix Q – 3 $1 = $0

Sobe lifewater 10/$10 – BOGO (PRINT) = $1 (These Qs don’t expire until July 14 so I’m holding on to the rest of mine in hopes one of our local stores will have a BOGO. Also just another note, CVS sells these for $1.59, but they are a $1.29 at Target, so if you’re going to use your BOGO, don’t do it at CVS unless you’re getting ECBs or it works in your scenario.)

Subtotal: $1, saved $12.45

Target

Merona flip-flips $3.48 clearance price – $3 off Merona footwear Target Q = $.48 (I’ve been to three Targets and have so far only found the polka-dot style that’s in the photo. I was hoping to find some other styles but still what a deal! The coupon has disappeared again but check back in case it’s added again. Also note that some Target may have a higher or lower clearance price.)

Hillshire Farm low-sodium lunchmeat $2.99 = $.75 (peelie) = $2.24

Always 45 ct. – $2.94 – $1 MFRC (5-2-10 PG) = $1.94

Subtotal: $4.61, saved $4.85

I usually forget to mention this but I almost always shop with reusable bags and since Target pays you $.05 per bag used, I usually get back anywhere from five to 25 cents. So if my total saved is off by increments of five, that’s why. :)

Walgreens

The weekly ad didn’t interest me much but there were two items I was interested in.

2 Gillette Body Wash $8.98 – B1G1 (5-2-10 PG) = $4.49

Scotch Magic Tape $5.97 – $3.90 WAGC  = $1.50/3 (PRINT)

And I found a pack of security envelopes for $.99 to use as a filler.

Use two $3 EOS RRs

Subtotal $.05, saved $16.89, got back $4.50 RR

I had really wanted the Oscar Meyer Deli Creations but the Walgreens I went to yesterday didn’t have them. Today I found them, bought 3, used the 1.99 in-ad WAGC and 3 $1/1 MFRC (May All You or PRINT, while you’re there you can print out $1/1 coupons off bacon and deli meat.) They each cost $.99 and I also bought three more of the Scotch tapes, used the in-ad WAGC again and the $1.50/3 MFRC. I ended up with a $.94 subtotal, saved $15.69, used a $3 EOS RR. I also had a .40 Ravinia knee-highs for a filler to cover the number of coupons I had.

Tomorrow night will plan my Publix and CVS trips, will let you know what I come up with. Happy moneymaking!
