Product review: eos lip balm

eos.jpgI read about this product in either Lucky or InStyle months ago and had it on my shopping list ever since. Last week I finally splurged and so glad I did. Not only do I love the color and flavor (I opted for the Summer Fruit), but I love the shape, that cute little can’t-resist sphere of splendor. Just twist to open and expose your lips to one of the smoothest balms I’ve ever tried. It’s so light, I don’t even feel like I have any on, not sticky and not greasy.

eos, which stands for evolution of smooth, makes all natural organic products. In addition to the lip balm sphere, they also have a product portfolio that includes lip balm sticks, moisturizing shave cream and the new lemon drop sphere with spf 15. Later this year they will be adding body lotion to their product line.

Now is the perfect time to try an eos product. Starting tomorrow Walgreens has a fabulous deal: Buy eos moisturizing lotion at $2.99, get $2.99 RR, so it’s like getting the product for free. Or better yet if you have $2 Kellogg’s or Softsoap from this last week, just roll them over and pay .99 OOP.

Get it: You can buy eos lip balm sphere in summer fruit and honeysuckle honeydew and the moisturing lotion in three varieties at Walgreens, or order lip balm sphere and sticks in five flavors and moisturing lotion in seven varieties online from Amazon. The lemon lip sphere with spf 15 is currently only available direct from eos, although presently it is not listed in their online store.
