Product Review: Listerine Zero

Listerine Zero is badI wish I could say this is the answer for those of you that just can’t stand the “hurt-factor” in regular Listerine, but it’s not. I know the new Listerine Zero states “mouthwash” versus “antiseptic” on the bottle with zero alcohol, but store-brand mouthwashes have more going for them than this stuff. I would say it’s like Scope Light, if there was such a thing, but that’s insulting to Scope, so just imagine you took your freshly used toothbrush out of your mouth after brushing your teeth, rinsed it in a cup of water and that’s basically what you get with Listerine Zero.

Now, I’m not going to lie, I do come from the camp of “I want to feel my mouthwash working” so that may have a lot to do with my opinion. But put that aside for the moment because the worst part of Listerine Zero I haven’t even gotten to yet. If you do like to gargle while using mouthwash, forget it. Because every time I’ve attempted to with this “mouthwash” my mouth turns into a bubble machine with bubbles all over my face — not the place I’m looking for them to “fight the germs.”

Forget it! This stuff runs around $2.99 – $3.99 and even that’s too expensive. Unless you get it like I did — which was through am ECB deal at CVS a couple of weeks back which made it free — don’t bother.

Great Miller Lite/Bubba Burger deal

My sister is at it again, she’s got another great deal on Miller Lite, Bubba Burgers and a sweepstakes that can win you a trip to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game:

Albertsons has the best deal I have seen when using the Miller Lite/Bubba Burger coupon found at Publix ($5 tearpad when you buy 12-pack of Miller Lite).  When you buy one 12 pack or greater of Miller Lite you can get $5 off of Bubba Burgers.  Well Albertsons has Bubba Burgers on sale for $6.99.  It made the total cost $11.98. That’s usually the price of one 12-pack!

But that’s not all. When you’re done go to www.Buccaneers.com/MillerLite enter the code H969W to win a LCD TV, a grill, or to go to the Bucs game. How’s that for a great day of Sunday football?
