Sometimes the best deals are the ones you just stumble upon. Today I was at Walgreens looking for a filler item, and saw the Dryel refill boxes which normally retail for $9.99, marked as clearance for $2.59. I had $2 off printablecoupons which got me two boxes for 59 cents each. It looks like they have changed their packaging, and clearanced out the older boxes.
It feels like a big summer sale with the more-than-usual signs announcing price cuts and the many end caps of clearance items. My favorite find – $1.75 price cut on Eggo frozen waffles. Use the $1/1 Target Q and that makes them $.75!
I also bought another Scrubbing Bubbles sprayer to use the overage toward the waffles and two other items. Oop I spent $3.31.
A few other items I saw: Lots of markdowns on pet treats inc. Friskies All Natural, Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough, Colgate whitening toothpaste, Colgate wisps, Crest ProHealth, Irish Spring body wash and much more.
I needed a filler at Walgreens today and found Deerfield Farms Double Butter Popcorn on clearance for 19 cents. This will make a great cheap filler if your store has them. Wags clearance items seem to vary store to store. A couple Wags I stopped at in the last few days had many of their office supplies on clearance but others only a few.

I had to fill a prescription today, so I went to a little further CVS that would take my Winn-Dixie $25 gift card coupon for a new RX. I had to wait 15-20 minutes for my prescription, so I walked around the store, and found an incredible deal. I have blogged before about my love of Triple Paste, but it is very pricey at $30 a jar. Well, wouldn’t you know, they had it on clearance for 50% OFF! I’m not so sure why it was so cheap, but it made my day. I was able to use a $15 ECB from a glucose monitor 2 weeks ago, an $8 one from the Gillette body soap last week, and a CVS $3 off $15 body care item. I bought two of them, and ended up paying $4 for $60 in the best diaper rash cream. Hopefully that will hold us over until my youngest is out of diapers…
