I just got an email from the National Consumer Panel saying that I was accepted!  I am so excited to get my scanner in the mail.  Once I get the scanner I will scan barcodes on products that I buy and send the information back to the National Consumer Panel.  They said it will take approximately 30 minutes to send them my purchase information via the hand-held scanner. 

Each time I do this, you will earn points, which are redeemable for electronics, household items, jewelry, toy, gift cards, and more.

If you live in Central Florida look in Wednesday’s Orlando Sentinel (Aug. 25) for a survey card that has “Attention Homeowners” in big red letters on top. If you fill out the seven questions and your address info on the bottom of the card and send it in (postage is paid) you’ll receive a $15 gift card to Romano’s Macaroni Grill or Chili’s.

It says you need to schedule delivery of the card and it’s for folks 21-and-up. I just filled out mine and sent it out so I’ll let you know what happens.
