My Favorite Beer Coupon
I love this coupon! Everytime I buy a 12 pack of Miller Lite I can usually get 2 free bottles of soda. The best places to use this coupon are at CVS or Walgreens since they usually have great sales on Coke or Pepsi products. Last week, Coke was on sale at CVS for $0.69 and the coupons overage went towards the price of the beer. I would not recommend using this coupon at the grocery store unless you like store brand soda.
Bag of Dove chocolate 99 cents
A bag of Dove chocolate minis is $2.99 at CVS this week. Stack the $1/1 MFR Dove printable coupon with the $1/1 CVS coupon (from the coupon machine at the store) and pay 99 cents – or use the Brach’s 99-cent ECB from last week’s deals to get it for free.
Holy coupon clipping! 10 CVS coupons
Today I stopped in to CVS for the Revlon lipstick deal. As always I scan my card at the coupon center to see what store coupons spit out. Typically I get 1 to 3, usually 2, but for the first time I got 10 coupons! Unfortunately one of them wasn’t Revlon. Here is what I got:
Free beauty charm w/ $15 or more beauty purchase.
$3 off any TUMS 60ct. or larger
$1.50/1 Maalox or Gasx, any
$1 off bag of Dove chocolate
$1 off any Glade Relaxing Moments room spray
$3 off any hair care purchase of $20 or more (one day only)
$1 off Scott bathroom tissue 12pk. (one day only)
$1 off Brawny 6pk or Quilted Northern bathroom tissues 12 pk.
$3 off any store brand purchase of $20 or more (one day only)
$2 off any 2 xtra laundry detergent (one day only)
Trip summary: CVS – saved $14.96
Haven’t been doing much shopping lately as you know. I was in a need of doggie pads so decided to stop at CVS yesterday and use a $10 ECB so I didn’t have to spend the cash. Here’s what I picked up:
Hartz training pads, $9.99
Used $1/1 MFRC, Hartz printable coupon
2 Milano cookies, $1 each
Used 2 $1/1 MFRC, Pepperidge Farm printable coupon
Brach’s candy corn, $.99 (get back $.99 ECB ended yesterday)
With the coupons and the $10 ECB, everything from free, I only paid tax. I got back the $.99 Brach’s ECB and still have a $1 green tag ECB from a previous trip.
Free Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies
This week at CVS the 3 oz. package of Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies are $1 each. There is a $1/1 Pepperidge Farm cookies printable coupon, which makes them free!
Product Review: Listerine Zero
I wish I could say this is the answer for those of you that just can’t stand the “hurt-factor” in regular Listerine, but it’s not. I know the new Listerine Zero states “mouthwash” versus “antiseptic” on the bottle with zero alcohol, but store-brand mouthwashes have more going for them than this stuff. I would say it’s like Scope Light, if there was such a thing, but that’s insulting to Scope, so just imagine you took your freshly used toothbrush out of your mouth after brushing your teeth, rinsed it in a cup of water and that’s basically what you get with Listerine Zero.
Now, I’m not going to lie, I do come from the camp of “I want to feel my mouthwash working” so that may have a lot to do with my opinion. But put that aside for the moment because the worst part of Listerine Zero I haven’t even gotten to yet. If you do like to gargle while using mouthwash, forget it. Because every time I’ve attempted to with this “mouthwash” my mouth turns into a bubble machine with bubbles all over my face — not the place I’m looking for them to “fight the germs.”
Forget it! This stuff runs around $2.99 – $3.99 and even that’s too expensive. Unless you get it like I did — which was through am ECB deal at CVS a couple of weeks back which made it free — don’t bother.
Free SoBe: BOGO SoBe at CVS
Starting tomorrow CVS will once again be selling BOGO SoBe! Hopefully you’ve still been playing the SoBe Heads or Tails instant win game and collecting more BOGO coupons.
Trip Summary: CVS – saved $9.47
As you know I haven’t had much shopping to do lately, but I had to stop by CVS to pick up a few bags of my favorite M&M’s, the new pretzel variety. I picked up 3 9.9 oz. bags on sale 2 for $5 or $2.50 each. I used 3 $1/1 MFRC 07-25-10 RP (exp. 9/5/10) and $2 Planters ECB.
Subtotal: $2.50 or about 83 cents per bag.
Free Flu shots at CVS
Check out the front page of this weeks CVS ad! If you buy $30 of the pictured P&G products, you get a free flu shot. One of the products is Pampers Cruisers on sale for $8.88 a bag. There was a $3 coupon in a home mailer or a $1 coupon in this Sunday’s paper. I stocked up on the diapers, got my free flu shot coupon and can use my receipt toward the coupon book promotion that was also advertised in the P&G coupon insert from this past Sunday.
