I wish I could say this is the answer for those of you that just can’t stand the “hurt-factor” in regular Listerine, but it’s not. I know the new Listerine Zero states “mouthwash” versus “antiseptic” on the bottle with zero alcohol, but store-brand mouthwashes have more going for them than this stuff. I would say it’s like Scope Light, if there was such a thing, but that’s insulting to Scope, so just imagine you took your freshly used toothbrush out of your mouth after brushing your teeth, rinsed it in a cup of water and that’s basically what you get with Listerine Zero.
Now, I’m not going to lie, I do come from the camp of “I want to feel my mouthwash working” so that may have a lot to do with my opinion. But put that aside for the moment because the worst part of Listerine Zero I haven’t even gotten to yet. If you do like to gargle while using mouthwash, forget it. Because every time I’ve attempted to with this “mouthwash” my mouth turns into a bubble machine with bubbles all over my face — not the place I’m looking for them to “fight the germs.”
Forget it! This stuff runs around $2.99 – $3.99 and even that’s too expensive. Unless you get it like I did — which was through am ECB deal at CVS a couple of weeks back which made it free — don’t bother.
Last night while shopping at CVS, last minute deals before the new ones today, I got a great Extra Care coupon. It’s for a free $25 gift card with a new or transferred prescription at the CVS pharmacy. I’ll definitely be taking advantage of this with my next prescription (it expires on Oct. 11).
This week the Nature Made vitamins are BOGO at CVS. I purchased two bottles of CoQ10 for $31.49. Both bottles were bonused with 33% more. I used my 20% off coupon that was email to be today and saved $6.28. I use two $7 Nature Made MFQ from their Wellness Rewards program, and a CVS $5 off a $15 vitamin store coupon. I paid $6.21 oop (used free gift card from Pampers Reward Program) for $63 worth of these vitamins. Score!!!

I swore I wasn’t going to buy more diapers, since I probably have a large enough stockpile to get me through potty training…. But CVS has a fabulous deal that I can’t pass up. This week, the large box of diapers is on sale for $21.99 and you get $10 in ECB’s. I also have a $10 MFQ that they sent me for sending in my comments. So essentially, I’ll get a big box of Pampers for $1.99. So much for potty training!
